7- परन्तु प्रभु ने शमूएल से कहा, ‘तू उसके बाहरी रूप-रंग और ऊंचे कद पर ध्यान मत दे। मैंने उसे अस्वीकार किया है। जिस दृष्टि से मनुष्य देखता है, उस दृष्टि से मैं नहीं देखता। मनुष्य व्यक्ति के बाहरी रूप-रंग को देखता है, पर मैं उसके हृदय को देखता हूँ।
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
